1. General Information
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the MAD MAG online store.
MAD MAG is an independent art mail project created by Zoé Mad and operated by Claudia Just, based in Germany.

2. Products & Services
MAD MAG offers limited-edition art mail, original artworks, prints and other creative products.
Each MAD MAG envelope contains a curated selection of artistic materials, which may include art prints, letters, postcards, stickers and other surprises.
The contents and designs may vary between editions. Product descriptions and images provide further information about individual offers.
3. Orders & Payments
All prices are displayed in euros (€), unless otherwise indicated.
Payments are processed through the payment methods available at checkout.
Under the German small business regulation (§ 19 UStG), German VAT is not charged.
By placing an order, customers submit a binding offer to purchase. A contract is formed when we expressly accept the order or dispatch the goods, whichever occurs first. An automated acknowledgement of receipt does not, by itself, constitute acceptance.
4. MAD MAG Memberships
MAD MAG offers three purchasing options:
Single Edition — €13
A one-time purchase of one MAD MAG edition without an ongoing subscription.
Monthly Membership — €11/month
An automatically renewing monthly subscription. The payment method is charged according to the billing schedule shown at checkout.
Customers can cancel future renewals through their subscription management portal or by contacting us.
Annual Membership — €111
A prepaid membership including 12 monthly editions. Payment is collected once at checkout. The membership does not automatically renew.
The applicable billing and delivery terms are displayed at checkout.
5. Edition Deadlines & Shipping
Orders placed by the 11th of a month are intended to receive that month’s edition. Orders placed after the 11th are intended to begin with the following month’s edition.
MAD MAG editions are scheduled for dispatch on the 15th of each month.
Delivery times depend on the destination and postal service.
Shipping charges, where applicable, are displayed at checkout. MAD MAG art mail currently includes free worldwide standard shipping.
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within the applicable legal deadlines.
For valid statutory withdrawals, refunds will be processed in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.
6. Subscription Cancellations
Monthly memberships can be cancelled to prevent future automatic renewals.
Annual memberships end after the 12 included editions and do not automatically renew.

Cancellation terms do not limit applicable statutory consumer rights.
7. Returns, Refunds & Withdrawal
MAD MAG does not offer additional voluntary returns for art mail purchases or memberships.
This does not exclude any applicable statutory right of withdrawal or other mandatory consumer rights.

8. Original Artworks & Intellectual Property
All artworks, images, illustrations, texts and creative content remain protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Purchasing an original artwork, print or MAD MAG edition does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.
Commercial reproduction, distribution or use of the artwork requires prior written permission unless otherwise permitted by law.
9. Damaged or Incorrect Products
Customers should contact madmag@itszoemad.com if an order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect.
Statutory warranty and consumer rights remain unaffected.
10. Liability
We are liable in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where such exclusion or restriction is prohibited by law, including liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health
11. Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by German law.
For consumers residing outside Germany, mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in their country of habitual residence remain unaffected where required by law.
